RegTek
Legal Agreements
All
companies have their legal agreements, and ours can be found on
this page. We have two separate agreements. The
first governs our domain name registration services.
Much of this agreement has been dictated by ICANN and the various
domain registry companies. The agreement is in PDF format and
is available here.
We also have an agreement that governs our non-registration
services, such as email forwarding, URL forwarding and
so on. This agreement is in PDF format and can be found here.
A separate agreement governs the use of our whois data.
As required by ICANN, Registration Technologies, Inc. has established an "Expired Domain Deletion Policy" that explains when, relative to a domain names expiration date, that name will be "deleted" or "auto renewed".
Regarding auto renewal, at this time we do not have any process or procedure for auto renewal of domain names.
Currently, we offer to each registrant a 40 day "grace period". This means that you may renew your
domain name any time during the 40 calendar days immediately following the expiration date of your domain name.
If you do renew during this grace period, the renewal will be from the expiration date of the domain, not from
the date you renewed it.
If you do not renew the domain name by the end of the grace period (as defined in our registrant agreement posted/linked above) and we do not elect to transfer ownership to another registrant, it will be deleted between 41 and 45 days after the expiration date.
Personal Data Use Policy
As required by ICANN, Registration Technologies, Inc. has established an "Personal Data Use Policy"
that explains what we will use your personal information for and to who we will reveal it.
We will use the information you provide to us to meet the requirement placed upon us by ICANN, registry operators and the courts and we will use this information to collect debts you owe to us, but other than this we will not use your information for any other purpose. You must provide us with your contact information, including your name, postal address, email address, phone and fax numbers. Disclosure of information other than this that may be requested is voluntary. Information may be provided to registry operators, persons the registry operators are required to provide it to and also persons who query our whois server or purchase our whois data. Any person about whom we hold data can correct any information we hold about them by contacting us with the corrections.
Expired Domain Deletion Policy
As required by ICANN, Registration Technologies, Inc. has established an "Expired Domain Deletion Policy" that explains when, relative to a domain names expiration date, that name will be "deleted" or "auto renewed".
Regarding auto renewal, at this time we do not have any process or procedure for auto renewal of domain names.

If you do not renew the domain name by the end of the grace period (as defined in our re
gistrant agreement posted/linked above) and we do not elect to transfer ownership to ano
ther registrant, it will be deleted between 41 and 45 days after the expiration date.
Our
Expiring Name Notification Policy
Both prior to and after the expiration of your domain name, we send notices that your name will or has expired. Information about when, how and to whom these notices are sent is here.
Our
Old Landrush Policy Pages
During
the past few years ICANN has added new gTLD offerings to the domain
name space. Each new gTLD is offered by a different registry company
and each one introduced their domain names, for the first time,
in a different way. Because of the expected high demand for these
new domains the introductions were referred to as "landrush
periods."
During
these landrush periods, our pricing for these new domains was
different than our standard pricing. We established a different
policy for each landrush. Our pricing and policy pages from these
landrushes are still available here:
